Directors Play/Feast of One-Page Plays

CALL FOR ONE-PAGE PLAYS
Scripts selected for the 3rd Annual Feast of One-Page Plays will receive full mountings. Some will be staged in multiple treatments. Dates and venue to be announced. Look for an autumn 2003 opening.

DIRECTORS
Interested directors should send letters of interest and resumes to address below.

WRITERS’ GUIDELINES
1. Scripts must be on a single sheet of white paper, 8 1/2" X 11".
2. ON SIDE ONE: The entire script including title and necessary character and setting information. ¾” Minimum margins, Double-spaced, single-column, typed and readable (10pt minimum.) This format produces 31 lines of text.
Plays are rejected for failure to follow this format.
3. ON SIDE TWO OF EACH SCRIPT: Author's name and contact information plus a signed statement: "I give Directors Theater of San Francisco permission to include this script in a full production."
4. Plays must be primarily in dialogue form, utilizing two or more speaking characters.
5. Playwright retains all rights.
6. Selected scripts will receive full mountings, and may be staged in multiple treatments. No rewrites after submission, or as part of rehearsal process.
7. Maximum of three plays per writer may be submitted.
8. Include a 50-word bio, and a writer’s resume.
9. Enclose #10 business-size envelope SASE for return of script and/or notification of selected plays. Include a SASE postcard if notification of receipt of submission is desired.
